The service

An APROXITY object links to a permanent public page. The owner decides what that page says and which actions visitors can take. Visitors can use a public page without an account.

Owner responsibilities

• Only publish content you have the right to publish.
• Don't publish anyone else's private information, and don't impersonate anyone.
• Don't use an object to harass, spam or deceive people who scan it.

Moderation

Anyone can report a public page. APROXITY may disable an object whose page breaks these rules. Owners can block senders and report messages they receive.

Availability

APROXITY works to keep public pages fast and available but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. NFC performance depends on the phone and on where the object is placed; the QR code is the fallback.
