NFC does not scan
Unlock the phone and hold the top edge (iPhone) or the middle of the back (most Android phones) against the object for a second.
On Android, NFC may be switched off in settings.
NFC struggles directly against metal. If the object sits on a car body or a metal surface, the QR code is the reliable route.
QR problem
Open the camera app and point it at the code; tap the link that appears. Low light and sharp angles make scanning harder.
NFC and QR open exactly the same page.
Claim problem
You need the object ID (from its page) and the one-time claim code from the packaging. Codes ignore spaces, dashes and case.
A code works once. If the object already has an owner, or you lost the code, contact support with your order reference.
Lost object
In My Objects, set the object to Lost. Its page then asks finders to message you; your contact details stay hidden.
Transfer ownership
Self-service transfer isn't available yet. Contact support: we reset the object and issue a fresh claim code for the new owner. The NFC/QR link doesn't change.
Order / shipping
Signed-in customers see orders under Orders. Include your order reference when you write.
Abuse / spam
Owners: open the message in your inbox and choose Block sender or Report.
Anyone: every public object page has a “Report this page” link at the bottom.
Delete account
Settings → Delete account. Your objects' public pages and messages are deleted; order records are kept for accounting.
